Well, I'm off and running. The weather has become warmer so my photographing trips are kicking off. So far we have shot Cataract Falls while they were in the first stages of meltdown, Lanier Mansion in Madison Indiana, Clifty Falls which were also in a stage of melting and also in Madison, Indiana.
I have a wedding to shoot tomorrow which I am so excited about. Somone enquired about me doing a photoshoot of a girl in her wedding gown with their big "mudding truck". That will be so much fun. I also have several people waiting for better weather so I can take them on location for senior portratits. I am getting my ideas together about that.
Sad to say that for the time being my website is down due to my changing hosting and having problems transferring my pages over to the new hosts. Hopefully that situation will work itself out soon and the website will be up and running better than ever with more features.
Well, that's about it for now. See ya soon.

Here is where my photography blog begins. I have been thinking about how to do this, what to put in it, what to say, ....you know yada yada yada. Well, I think I'm going to treat this as kind of an all purpose journal chronicling my work and experiences in the photographic world.
I will be posting my photographs, reviews of some of my favorite accessories, ideas, and looking for insight and tips from my peers.
When my photographing day trips start up again in the Spring, I will be posting my pictures plus schedules of when I'll be going for those who would like to join me for a small fee. These trips are along backroads and last all day long just shooting what we find out there. It's alot of fun and helps with honing photographic skills.
I look forward to adventures in photography and hope you'll join me and visit often.

About Me
- Roxie Don Photography
- I am a freelance lifestyle photographer. My favorite camera is the Nikon D7000. When not in the studio, I can be found out on the road less traveled, taking photographs. I am starting this blog to put my work out there as I learn new techniques and explore the world of photography.I much prefer to be behind the camera rather than in front of it. I love the freedom to be as creative as I like and seeing the finished product come to life....or...is any photograph really finished????
